A new direction

Since my website has been totally redesigned, I thought I’d better include a blog this time round and convey some of my experience and views to my fellow photographers out there. Blogging is a completely new experience for me, so if I appear to be rather formal in my approach forgive me….. at least for a while! Over the coming weeks its my intention to have a few regular features, such as “moth of the month”  and a “macro photographer’s diary”; the latter, is essentially ideas about what to photograph as we progress throughout the seasons. I will also look at various bits and pieces of equipment for the macro photographer that I have used, designed or tested in the field. The natural history photographer also needs a good reference library for identification of difficult species, I will also review some of the latest books that in my opinion are worth adding to the library.
