Pond life

Despite the recent weather, spring is beginning to make its presence felt with many of the early flowering species beginning to appear in reasonable numbers.

I had some aquatic photography to finish off for my own publication and spent a couple of hours collecting material from a couple of sites near my home. I was also working on a new project using High-speed flash and an infrared beam setup of frogs jumping into water. I also had to shoot some new images of newts and a few other species. Below are a few examples from the shoot.
