New Macro Publication

I mentioned in an earlier blog that I was in the final stages of completing and new macro photography publication. I am now pleased to say that we are finalising the design and plan to go to print soon! The book should be available to purchase sometime in September. This is the most comprehensive macro book I have written to-date. The 305-page book contains over 290 images illustrating a wide range of subject material showing portfolio cases studies and field techniques for photographing many different subjects including dragonflies, butterflies, moths, caterpillars, aquatic creatures, rockpools lichens, fungi among others. The book also contains extensive sections on digital fundamentals, equipment, fieldcraft, digital workflow and a reference section to additional information through books and on-line sites and publications.
The book has been commissioned by Routledge who are part of the Taylor & Francis Group. The book will be available in hardback, paperback and an e-publication. Preliminary pre-publication information is already up on Amazon.
